Pop-up Cards! What I learnt this week #2

Things are always more fun when they are three dimensional, so with this in mind I set about learning how to make some pop-up cards! This site has a lot of tutorials on the basics cuts and folds necessary for different types of pop-up cards. I wanted to create a structure on which I could stick my illustrations, with 3 layers so they would look nice and dimensional! To do this I used the box variation method, which involved some cutting, some mountain & valley folds, and hey presto POP-UP!!

Such Fun! I'm gonna do a tutorial next week, with a print out so you can make your very own King Kong in New York card!! so stay tuned for that.
